Where do you want to
be in five years' time?

What to do when your world gets turned upside-down.

Divorced

This is not what you thought you signed up for!  However, life changes.  People change and as they say, the only things that are certain in life are change, death and taxes.  Unfortunately divorce is right up there with the most stressful of changes in your life. Look at your policies!  There will be certain things that you’ll need to address – now you don’t have a spouse, insurance is no longer insurance – it’s motive!

Losing your job

It happens - don’t take it personally! We understand the stress and the emotional and financial pressure that this can cause. Immediately you analyse your income and expenses.  This can actually be a positive experience, as it gives you the opportunity to really focus on where your money is going.  Getting good advice on reviewing your budget (including your fixed costs such as insurance) is a worthwhile process.

Losing your partner

There are no words to describe the pain of losing someone special in your world. This difficult time requires thoughtful and caring support; there’s a lot of paperwork required and having a support team there to guide and assist you can be invaluable. Insurance claims, transferring assets, investment support – this is where we come into our own and it’s our way of supporting at such a sad time.
